I work at the intersection of engineering geology, geotechnical engineering, and geophysics, with a focus on electrical resistivity methods, landslide and karst investigations, subsurface cavity detection, and seismic hazard analysis.
Profile
I graduated from the Department of Geological Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Ankara University, in 2010. In 2011, I joined the Department of Geological Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Akdeniz University, as a Research Assistant through a faculty development programme specific to Türkiye (Öğretim Üyesi Yetiştirme Programı, ÖYP). I pursued my graduate studies at the Department of Geological Engineering, Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Akdeniz University, completing my M.Sc. in 2014 and Ph.D. in 2020. Since completing my Ph.D. in 2020, I have continued my academic work as a Research Assistant in the same department.
My research lies at the intersection of engineering geology, geotechnical engineering, and geophysics. My work focuses on landslide and seismic hazard investigations within the broader context of natural hazards, as well as the application of electrical resistivity methods to engineering geology problems, particularly for karst investigations and the detection of subsurface cavities.
